I am Holly.  Soft in summer.  Hard and thorny in winter.

         I am Holly.  Winter is my time to shine.  I stand tall and strong when others retreat.  I stand guard throughout the cold and dark.

         I am Holly.  I am strongest when there is the most to fight.  My strength comes out in adversity.  I will not give in to those who would take my life.

         I am Holly.  My thorns protect me.  The hardness of my leaves protect me.  With only a knowing few do I share my fruit.

         I am Holly.  Stand strong before those that would harm you--that would steal your Spirit.  The strength resides within you.  You have only to call upon it.
